The average cost of a wedding for middle-class families in Kuwait is estimated to be over $116,200 (KD 35,000) a year.
Around 50 wealthy families reportedly spend between $830,000 (KD 250,000) and $3.3 million (KD 1 million) on at least one of their children’s weddings, revealed a study by a top wedding organiser in Kuwait, reported Al-Qabas newspaper.
As for the total cost of weddings for Kuwaitis, it is estimated that over $780 million (KD 235 million) is spent each year.
