Dubai is a “perfect” family destination that caters to all kinds of visitors, according to one of the emirate’s most prolific celebrity visitors, British boxer Amir Khan.
Speaking to Arabian Business, Khan – who was last pictured in Dubai celebrating New Year’s Eve on the Palm Jumeirah – said that Dubai “caters for everything.”
“If I’m with my boys, we can have a good meal and go out at night, and you’ve got nice beaches,” he said. “The wife can go shopping and have nice dinners, or go out at night for a nice walk. It’s made for that.”
“For the kids – I’ve got two girls – they have access to little play schools and amazing baby sitters if the wife and I go out on a romantic dinner,” he added.
The main draw for Khan and his family, he said, is Dubai’s reputation for safety.
“That’s why I like it. My wife can walk at night and I know that nobody is going to say a word,” he said. “I know she’s safe. Maybe in another country I’d wonder whether she’s okay. I know that I’m safe, that she’s safe and that the kids are safe.”
In early December, Amir Khan was again in Dubai to announce a new role as brand ambassador for Berkeley Assets, a private equity firm with offices in Dubai and London.
Other recent photos on his Instagram account show the fighter in Dubai in November and in June.
