Handovers begin for second phase of huge Sharjah residential project

Spreading over one million sq m, Al Zahia, owned by Sharjah Holding - a joint venture between Majid Al Futtaim Properties and Sharjah Asset Management - will feature 2,270 homes upon its completion.

Majid Al Futtaim Communities and Sharjah Asset Management have announced the commencement of the handover of the second phase of the Al Lilac project.

The handover of the development, comprising 169 homes ranging from three-bedroom townhouses and courtyard villas to five-bedroom villas, comes after the successful completion of the first phase of Al Lilac in March and follows the launch and handover of Al Jouri and Al Narjis.

Al Lilac will be the third neighbourhood to be fully occupied within Al Zahia in Sharjah, a statement said.

“Today we take another step towards realising Majid Al Futtaim’s bold vision of creating a destination that celebrates and uplifts its residents every day. With this new milestone, we are well on our way towards redefining the Sharjah living experience, and we look forward to welcoming those who will soon call Al Zahia home,” said Yousuf Kazim, managing director UAE, Majid Al Futtaim – Communities.

Spreading over one million sq m, Al Zahia, owned by Sharjah Holding – a joint venture between Majid Al Futtaim Properties and Sharjah Asset Management, will feature 2,270 homes upon its completion.

“Rich in culture and diversity, Al Lilac appeals to those who seek a combination of grandeur and home comforts, making it one of Sharjah’s most desired and distinctive neighbourhoods,” said Walid Al Hashimi, CEO of Sharjah Holding.
