Astra Tech, the leading consumer technology group based in Abu Dhabi, announced the launch of its ‘Send Now Pay Later’ service on its BOTIM app in the UAE.

The innovative service, which the company claimed is the first of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, offers instant international money transfers with the option to defer payment.

The new service relies on an advanced credit infrastructure that allows users to send money, with the flexibility of paying in easy installments.

The company said the service was designed to meet the growing demand for flexible financial solutions in the UAE following the success of expanded remittance services in 2023.

Through this strategic move, Astra Tech seeks to capture a significant share of the UAE’s multi-billion-dirham remittance market.

It also contributes to enhancing the well-being of workers in various sectors, especially during periods that require greater financial flexibility, such as the end of the month.

Abdullah Abu Al-Sheikh, Founder of Astra Tech and CEO of Botim, said the launch of the new service is a strategic step to strengthen Botim and Astra Tech’s position in pioneering innovative financial solutions. “Through this service, we aim to provide remittance solutions based on a strong credit infrastructure, providing users with a smooth and flexible experience in managing their obligations,” he said.
