FVC has signed a distribution agreement with Masergy, a network service provider targeting mid-size to large enterprises.
FVC will offer Masergy’s IP network solutions for videoconferencing through its network of channel partners across the Middle East and North Africa region. “This is an important partnership that enhances the videoconferencing solutions we offer from Polycom,” says Bruce Withington, executive director at FVC.
“With video conferencing solutions showing an upswing in the region, local IP networks need to be enhanced to ensure that they can handle the level of traffic it generates. The partnership with Masergy will do just that.”
Masergy delivers a video-grade IP alternative to ISDN transport. Its inCONTROL Video range is specifically engineered to deliver superior quality videoconferencing at all times, under all network conditions.
FVC is demonstrating the technology at its GULFCOMMS booth along with a telepresence solution from US videoconferencing specialist Polycom. To demonstrate the system, FVC is running live videoconferences to Europe from its booth.
