Wedding between Hollywood actor and human rights lawyer took place in Venice
According to The Guardian, a notice on the council website issued a warning to residents that they would be closing the road around the town hall to pedestrians from midday until around 2pm on Monday – due to the huge influx of A-listers and people “drawn by the event’s star quality”.

Day two of the wedding celebrations saw the groom,accompanied by his A-list guests, making his way down the Grand canal in Venice to the wedding dinner held at the Aman hotel where his bride was waiting.
The wedding served a mixture of Italian and Lebanese food and the guests were whisked away to the venue via water taxis.

Alamuddin is a former legal adviser to Bahrain’s King Hamad and worked with the Bahrain Independent Commission of Inquiry (BICI) during investigations into political unrest in 2011, according to Gulf Daily News.
She also helped train Bahraini lawyers in human rights law international standards as recently as January, GDN added.
