Saudi Arabia, China holds meeting to discuss bilateral economic, infra investment ties

The two sides also reviewed progress of macroeconomic policies

Saudi Arabia and China have discussed bilateral financial and economic cooperation and investment in infrastructure at a high-level meeting on Tuesday.

The two sides also reviewed progress of macro economy policies.

At the meeting of the financial sub-committee of the joint high-level Saudi-Chinese Financial Committee, the two countries also expressed their keenness to enhance joint and fruitful cooperation within multilateral platforms, including the G20, International Monetary Fund (IMF), World Bank, and Asian Bank for investment in infrastructure.

The meeting was co-chaired by the assistant finance minister for macro fiscal policies and international relations Abdulmuhsen bin Saad Al-Khalaf and China’s vice minister Wang Dongwei.
