Solutions provider and software developer Intertec Systems is preparing for major expansion across the Gulf. The UAE-based company is building a partner network to aid growth in the region. The expansion began last month with the rebranding and relaunch of Intertec’s web site. Intertec now aims to set up partnerships with mid-sized solution providers across the Middle East, to have partners in place by the end of the year. Intertec will be officially re-launched at an event at the Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel, Dubai, in two week’s time. The new partnerships will focus particularly on promoting applications developed by New Technology Systems (NTS), Intertec’s software arm, in fields such as call centre infrastructure, desktop & server management, and system & security management services. “In the GCC region, the plan is to establish a network of distributors and re-sellers for Intertec’s application software and IT solutions business,” says Naresh Kothari, managing director of Intertec Systems. “We also plan to soon start appointing these distributors and resellers, beginning with Bahrain and Qatar and subsequently expanding to other GCC countries.” “Intertec is constantly looking to extend its products, solutions and services portfolios to harness the benefits of evolving technologies. This aspect of moving with the technology is critical for our continuous improvement and growth,” Kothari adds. NTS recently launched its sales forecasting and order processing (SFOP) application for sales automation, and the company has also enjoyed success with its range of back-end solutions for airport management.
