Hard drive vendor Western digital recently held its ‘Annual Meet’ for distributors and resellers from the region. Resellers from Pakistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya and UAE attended the event in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, which provided an occasion for WD’s channel partners to share their experiences and success stories.
The vendor also introduced some of its latest products to partners that it is planning to launch in the region soon, such as the My Book World Edition family of shared storage appliances. Company officials educated resellers on the technical aspects of products which it claims allows consumers and home office workers to securely access their digital content, such as photos, home videos and documents.
“The WD Annual Meet is the perfect setting to meet our channel partners across the region on a one-to-one level, and also provides an opportunity for all the channel partners to know each other and share their experiences,” said Hafeez Khawaja, senior regional director Middle East, Africa and South Asia at Western Digital.
“It was an initiative by our regional management with an aim to strengthen the long term relations with our partners. Our channel partners can be assured of our total support in strengthening their business through the WD brand name,” he added.
The event also featured indoor team building recreational activities and interactive sessions.
