UAE expat dies in major truck fire accident

The fire occurred on Monday due to a collision between two trucks

A UAE expat was killed in Ras Al Khaimah on Monday, due to a collision between two trucks.

According to the Ras Al Khaimah Police, the expat was Asian, and the driver’s body was straightaway rushed to the hospital after recovery his body from the collided truck.

The fire was dealt with immediately by the competent authorities and the civil defence, according to local media reports.

UAE fire in April

Recently, a Dubai boat caught fire after an engine exploded and a maritime vehicle crashed into Maktoum Bridge during the Eid Al Fitr holiday.

However, due to the extensive maritime safety measures implemented by Dubai Police, there were no drowning incidents in city waters.

Colonel Hassan Al Suwaidi, Director of Ports Police Station, highlighted that, in collaboration with internal and external partners, they had prepared a thorough plan to accommodate hundreds of visitors during the Eid Al Fitr break.
