Dubai construction firm inks residential deal for Al Furjan development; all villas already sold out
Dubai-based firm United Engineering Construction has secured a deal to build the 171-villa Dreamz by Danube project.
The project forms part of the Al Furjan Development, a Nakheel owned residential development between Sheikh Zayed Road and Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, adjacent to the Discovery Gardens. It has generated an enormous amount of interest, with all villas selling out within a day of going on sale early last year.
Ground-breaking for the project is expected to happen later this month after permits to commence work have been finalised. The project is expected to take 18 months to complete.
The development works are planned over an area of 65,000 sq m which includes 171 luxury duplex townhouses with three and four bedrooms. Around 40 percent of the project is dedicated to open spaces with a state of the art infrastructure facility.
Last September, company founder and chairman Rizwan Sajan told Arabian Business “What we did with Dreamz was market it at a very reasonable price - AED2.5mn ($680,633) for a three-bedroomed townhouse in a prime location. We were able to sell it within three hours.”
Last month, Danube launched its Glitz project, a two phase residential development in Dubai Studio City which will include selection of 292 units offering a mix of studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments.
