With more and more employees embarking on career changes in the post-coronavirus economy, it is more important than ever to provide new hires with a successful on-boarding experience, said Sonia Tshabalala, regional people director, at Sage AMEA.
Around 20 percent of employees either report that their most recent on-boarding was poor or that they received no on-boarding at all but those who reported exceptional on-boarding experiences are 2.6 times more likely to be extremely satisfied with their workplace – and are thus more likely to stay, revealed Gallup’s global research.
