RM Sotheby’s, the classic car auction company headquartered in Ontario, announced its launch in the MENA region with an exclusive launch party celebrating the inauguration that took place in Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
The launch party took place at the Sotheby’s Dubai Gallery in DIFC and featured a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta by Scaglietti that was flown in specifically for the occasion. The car was then returned to Europe for sale at the upcoming RM Sotheby’s auction at Villa Erba in Italy on May 20.
In attendance at the launch party were automotive enthusiasts, art and watch collectors, event organisers and industry professionals from across the region.

The company has been behind the sales of some of the most significant cars in the world including a 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupé that sold for a staggering EUR135 million in 2022.
