Work is currently underway to launch an English-language dance music station in Saudi Arabia, sources revealed to Arabian Business.

Those involved are currently looking to recruit presenters for the programme which will feature the latest hit dance music.

Names have yet to be revealed but it is understood that the station is considering presenters already working in the Gulf.

The popularity of dance music in Saudi Arabia has surged in recent years.

The kingdom is home to some of the biggest electronic music festivals in the region, including SOUNDSTORM, organised by MDLBEAST.

First launched in 2019, the event has returned in 2021, and 2022, and features some of the biggest names in music, including international DJs like Tiësto, Steve Aoki and Hardwell.
