UAE developer Reportage says sales doubled to $440m amid real estate market rebound

Reportage Properties, the UAE-based real estate developer, has announced that its sales topped AED1.6 billion ($440 million) during 2021, double that of the previous year.

The sales surge comes as Reportage Properties is developing 12 projects in the UAE, providing about 6,000 housing units in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Islam Ahmed Suleiman, CEO, said that the company’s performance during 2021 was “distinguished”, adding: “The increase in sales confirms the improvement of activity in the real estate market in the UAE, and its ability to overcome challenges, especially with the continued launch of many initiatives stimulating economic activity in various sectors.”

New projects recently launched in Abu Dhabi and Dubai include the Diva project on Yas Island, which will provide 736 new homes, as well as Al Maryah Vista 2, which will provide 588 units on Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi.

Sulieman also said the company had launched its first project outside of the UAE last year with Monte Napoleone in New Cairo, Egypt, which will be developed in cooperation with Al Ahly Sabbour Company in Egypt.

The project will be built on an area of ​​465,000 square metres and will include 5,500 housing units.
