Renowned chef and restaurateur Marco Pierre White is to open a new restaurant in Abu Dhabi in the five-star Fairmont Bab Al Bahr.
Marco’s New York Italian is set to open on Thursday September 26 and is inspired by his Italian heritage and love for New York, a statement said.
He said: “Marco’s New York Italian is all about creating an environment where people can sit and enjoy some great food with friends and family whatever the occasion and we’ve made sure that the menu and the ambiance reflects just that.”
He added: “The idea is that Marco’s New York Italian isn’t just about selling a meal. It’s a great place to share and socialise whether it’s a night out with friends, a family lunch, or somewhere for parents to take the children out for a meal.”
Elias Chakhtoura, general manager, Fairmont Bab Al Bahr said: “We are honoured to open the first international branch of Marco’s New York Italian at the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr.
“This marks our second collaboration with chef Marco following the success of the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse, Bar & Grill.”
The venue will offer a casual all-day dining experience with a New York Italian menu that offers a mixture of Italian-inspired dishes and American classics, the statement said.
Marco’s New York Italian marks Studio EM’s first collaboration, and a joint venture with the newly formed Black and White International, a hotel management company, and RMAL Hospitality, a dedicated hotel and restaurant development business.
