Online retail giants in the UAE are offering 11.11 sales with massive discounts for consumers.
The annual online shopping celebration, in parts of the world known as Singles, Day will see billions of dollars spent around the world this week.
The 11.11, worldwide, is an online shopping phenomenon bigger than Black Friday, which is popular in the US.
11.11 sales in the UAE 2023
Figures were not published last year, but in 2021 China’s online shopping giants Alibaba and JD.com pushed trading to a world record $139bn in a single day.
Leading online retailers in the UAE are offering massive discounts on a variety of products and leading brands.
AliExpress 2023 11.11 sales
AliExpress has announced the launch of its 11.11 Global Shopping Festival.
In preparation for the festival, AliExpress has optimised its supply chain and logistics network to ensure an improved delivery speed and an enhanced shopping experience.
UAE consumers can look forward to a diverse range of products, with discounts of up to 50 per cent during the event and a $4 deduction from every $20 spent, with a maximum $16 deduction.
Shengliang Liang, General Manager for the Middle East, at AliExpress, said: “We have seen tremendous growth in AliExpress’ popularity in the GCC markets.
“In October 2023 alone, the platform attracted 3.6 folds of new users from the region compared to the same period in 2022.
“With faster delivery and carefully curated discounts and deals, we focus on continuously bringing great value and better experience to local consumers,”
The retailer has a number of promotions and discounts including free shipping for shoppers in the UAE over the sales period.
AliExpress has also implemented a free returns policy for UAE customers and has refined its Arabic language customer service.
The 2023 11.11 Global Shopping Festival of AliExpress will commence at 12.01am (UAE time) on November 11 and close at 11:59:59 on November 18.
Amazon 2023 11.11 sales
Global retail giant Amazon is joining the online shopping bonanza with promotions for Prime members and unregistered customers.
As is often the case with Amazon, there is a massive selection of products across a diverse range on offer in the sale, so the three days of sale – from Thursday, November 9, to to Sunday, November 12 – may require repeat visits.
Brand name tech sales include Amazon Echo devices with discounts of more than 60 per cent, Lenovo and Samsung laptop and smartphones with prices slashed and household, fashion and much more at reduced costs.
There will even be discounts from US and UK websites and further discounts for Mastercard and HSBC bank customers.
Noon 2023 11.11 sales
Arabic retail giant Noon says shoppers can save “on every single thing” during its 11.11 sale, which will run from November 9 to 12.
The website currently lists Apple Airpods, Samsung technology and household fashion brands among the best offers.
Buy-one-get-one-free promotions, flash sales and coupon offers are listed and will be updated frequently.
