Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority (ADAA) continues to remain at the cutting edge of digital technology. After becoming the first government entity to migrate its data centre to cloud, it has now taken reporting of financial and administrative misconduct to a new level with the release of a smart application.

The ADAA smart app offers several features, including access to the Wajib platform, which enables community members to submit confidential reports about violations in entities that fall under ADAA jurisdiction.

By submitting information on misconduct, it will not only help the authority in its investigation, but also prevent them from happening. The app aims to encourage the sense of shared responsibility and promote a culture of awareness in preserving public resources in the UAE capital.

The ADAA is the ultimate authority responsible for promoting accountability, transparency and integrity across all Abu Dhabi government entities, and institutions in which the Abu Dhabi government has over 25 percent of the investment.

The Authority is tasked with ensuring that public resources and funds are managed, collected and disbursed efficiently, effectively and economically, safeguarding them from non-compliance or abuse for the benefit of future generations.

The digital platform has been developed based on the highest global quality and information security standards, and utilises the latest artificial intelligence technologies and optimal use of data. The app maintains user confidentiality and privacy, promoting the value of accountability and raising the integrity of government employees and individuals.

The smart app can be downloaded from Google Play and Apple Store. Apart from Wajib Platform, it also includes statutory auditors services, as well as the financial disclosure platform for senior government employees.
