WhatsApp was facing global outage, affecting users in UAE and parts of the world.
The popular instant messaging application was facing connectivity issues for over two hours, with users in the UAE expressing frustration over service disruptions on both mobile devices and desktop platforms.
Some users reported limited functionality, with the ability to send and receive messages partially restored.
According to downdetector.ae, Whatsapp outages was first reported on Saturday around 10:40 AM.
WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook are owned by Meta and have not released a statement addressing the situation yet.
