WhatsApp users worldwide have reported service issues with the messaging platform. Users have been unable to send or receive messages since 11:00 AM on Tuesday morning.
#whatsappdown is currently trending on Twitter with over 600K users and counting, taking to Twitter to share outrage about the situation.
According to Downdetector there was a spike in problem reports on Tuesday morning, the website states “Downdetector only reports an incident when the number of problem reports is significantly higher than the typical volume for that time of day.”
Whatsapp or Meta is yet to respond to the current outages, reported by users in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, India, Pakistan and other countries around the world.
