Gulf Air will resume its Pakistan services on Sunday with a direct flight from Islamabad International airport to Bahrain.
The airline said the flights will only operate one-way with passengers from Pakistan, which is in compliance with the Civil Aviation Authority in Pakistan.
Further direct flights from other cities in Pakistan are expected to be added in the coming days, the airline added.
Gulf Air temporarily suspended all flights to its 7 destinations in Pakistan from March 21 this year – Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Faisalabad, Multan, Sialkot and Peshawar – in compliance with the order from the Civil Aviation Authority.
Gulf Air, which was one of the few airlines regionally and globally to operate scheduled flights during the outbreak, said it will continue to monitor the readiness of airports with a view to resuming operations to its network.
