Dubai International Airport (DXB) wins prestigious ACI safety award 2025

Dubai International Airport (DXB) has received the Airports Council International (ACI) Safety Recognition Award 2025, acknowledging its proactive approach to aerodrome safety.

The award, which recognises airport operators who exceed compliance requirements, was presented to Dubai Airports CEO Paul Griffiths and SVP of Safety & Security Buti Qurwash during the 2nd ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East Regional Assembly and Conference in New Delhi.

DXB sets safety benchmark

DXB has implemented several safety initiatives, including the Safety Superstar Award for employees demonstrating exemplary practices, and a confidential reporting system for staff to raise concerns.

The airport has also developed interactive safety videos, conducted targeted surveys, and organised joint safety campaigns to enhance awareness across all stakeholders.
