The iconic hotel brand Delano is set to open its first property outside of Miami. Delano Dubai will open its doors this October at Bluewaters Island, a mixed-use lifestyle destination developed by Dubai Holding.

The 167 guest rooms and 84 suites have been designed in Delano’s “signature understated style” the hotel said in an emailed statement on Tuesday.

Ranging from one to five bedrooms, the suites will offer elegant living and dining spaces as well as a variety of private outdoor areas. A penthouse apartment spanning the entire 7th floor will be available for rent.

Three food and beverage concepts will anchor the hotel. Tutto Passa will be an Italian restaurant and terrace inspired by the Amalfi Coast.

Blue Door, a beachfront restaurant, references the original Miami location. The reimagined Rose Bar aims to be “profoundly unforgettable.”

Delano Dubai will sit on a private section of Bluewaters Island. The property has been designed to provide guests a choice between “exquisite isolation or entry into an exclusive social hub.”

Facilities will include a swimming pool taking cues from Roman baths to encourage guests to “linger and engage.”

The hotel aims to transplant the “principles that secured the original’s legendary status” according to the spokesperson.

While continuing Delano’s “understated style,” interiors will showcase organic forms and flow outdoors to landscaped gardens and terraces overlooking Dubai’s coastline.

Delano Dubai marks an “exciting milestone” in the brand’s evolution and will open its doors this coming October, bringing the Miami concept to the Middle East for the first time.
