In a new update for visa reforms in the UAE, a new digital real estate investment platform in the MENA region is offering investors Golden Visa opportunities.
Stake, the investment platform has announced the offering of Golden Visas for investors who commit at least AED2 million on the platform.
The Golden Visa opportunity will be offered through Special Purpose Vehicles (SPV) registered in Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
This is the first-ever initiative through which investors in Dubai can obtain a Golden Visa through a digital investment platform.
Benefits of a Golden Visa through the platform
Accessibility – Investors do not have to be restricted within a geographical location to be able to apply for the Golden Visa with Stake. The only requirement is an investment of AED2 million.
Diversification – Investors have the flexibility to allocate the AED2 million fund across multiple properties rather than concentrating it on one single property allowing a diversified real estate portfolio.
Hassle-free investing – The platform eliminates the need for physical or paper-intensive transactions. The platform experts handle the entire sales process, screen tenants and manage properties. Investors can track and manage portfolios through the platform.
Investment deals – The platform eliminates the need to purchase off-plan properties, it allows investors to buy parts of ready-to-occupy properties.
Rami Tabbara, Co-Founder & Co-CEO of Stake said, “We are proud to introduce the Golden Visa initiative, demonstrating our commitment to further innovation in the FinTech space and revolutionize real estate in the region. As the first digital investment platform to offer this service, we’re opening doors for global investors to capitalize on Dubai’s unmatched real estate potential. This truly is a golden opportunity because everyone wants a piece of Dubai, and we’ve made it extremely easy to get started. This initiative is a testament to our unwavering commitment to continue doing exactly that.”
Stake was launched in 2020 and allows anyone from any part of the world to make fractional investments in Dubai real estate. Soon to be launched in other cities, the platform has amassed a base of over 140K users so far.
Last month, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai announced that the UAE Golden Visa will be granted to mosque imams, preachers, muezzins, muftis and religious leaders.
The 10-year residency will be given to those listed, if they have completed 20 years of work.
