Rolls-Royce’s most powerful ever model, the Wraith – with a price tag of $350,000 – will see the first pre-booked shipments of the vehicle arrive to the UAE in the final quarter of 2013.
Despite the high cost, they are likely to prove popular as the UAE is fast becoming a hub for bespoke versions of the luxury motors.
Prices will vary according to the amount off customised requested and a list of specifications and add-ons are available on demand. “Rolls Royce is offering bespoke items on the Wraith from day one and the lion’s share for this will be for the markets here,” said Geoffrey Briscoe, regional director of Rolls Royce Middle East, Africa and Latin America.
Last year, every single Rolls- Royce Phantom and Ghost vehicle sold in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain was commissioned with bespoke personalisation. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars awarded Abu Dhabi Motors with the title of “Best Bespoke Dealer World Wide” as the region boasted the richest bespoke specifications in the entire world.
Richard Collar, head of bespoke sales and marketing, said: “Rolls-Royce customers seek something beyond a traditional options list. As the world’s pinnacle super-luxury marquee, we provide them with a direct line to the world’s finest automotive designers and craftspeople, giving them a canvas from which to commission truly personal reflections of their tastes and lifestyles.”
