Celergen, a Swiss based company specialised in cell therapy, has released a new anti-aging supplement that promises to slow down the aging process and provide an endless stream of everlasting stamina.

But is this really the magic pill that will open the floodgates to the desperately searched for proverbial “Fountain of Youth”?

We tried it out ourselves to get a firsthand experience of the promised results.

Armed with a month’s supply of the first ever Swiss Marine Cell Therapy supplement, packaged beautifully I might add, and costing a hefty $350, we approached this with a mix of excitement and apprehension. Here are the candid observations from a 48-year-old member of our team:

Day 1: “I’ve read a load about these things and I am worried that there would be some kind of dodgy side effect. It’s definitely got nice branding and fancy brochures filled with logical explanations. So here’s to hoping.”

Day 2: “I’m still cynical. I don’t believe that anybody in history has managed to come up with the secret to anti-aging. If that was true, then we’d all be 21.”

Week 1: “It does feel like you are taking a medicine, or a supplement, which is what it is. But it is very difficult to remember to take that at the same time every day. The problem is that unless you see the result right away you quickly decide that this is a complete waste of time.”

Week 2: “I stopped taking selfies at this point. But I decided that the reason I wasn’t seeing a difference is because the camera on my Blackberry is not good. So I was not quite sure if I was not aging.”

Week 3: “This was one of the many things that I did in my fitness regimen. I also did boot camp and cut out coffee and sugar in the mornings. So although my energy levels were up, I was not sure if it was purely attributed to the pills alone.”

Final week: “The only thing I would say I noticed is a big difference in my hair! My wife, kids and mother noticed and made comments over the last month that I seem to be getting a reverse baldness process, as in I seem to be getting more hair on my head. It’s also growing really long, really fast. I had to have my hair cut three times in the past month.”

The truth is that this is a long term plan, after all, how much “age arresting” can take place over a month. You need to be fully invested in this idea to see all the promised benefits of increased skin resilience, tone and texture; enhancement of your stamina, energy and alertness levels; and an increased metabolic rate.

According to research in the field of trichology, our hair and nails are a reflection of our inner health and they are the first to be affected by changes in our diet or stress levels. So there might just be something to Celergen’s youth elixir.

Cellular Therapy has achieved phenomenal success as an effective regenerative technique. The human body contains some four trillion cells, which arise after conception from one unified cell through multiple division cycles. This process of renewal continues throughout life, as old and weak cells are replaced by new ones. However, as we grow older and pollution levels inside our body increase, the renewal process is suppressed. Cell Therapy is used to counteract this effect and trigger stimulation, mood elevation and rejuvenation of our cells.

Unlike other cell therapies, which involve injections, Celergen comes in a soft gel form that is taken orally. While supplements are often manufactured using extreme heat, which destroys many of the nutrients in the active ingredients, Celergen uses Swiss Proprietary Cold Extraction Technology which preserves its marine cellular extracts in order to achieve the highest degree of potency.

Independent clinical studies ran on the product report a 71 percent improvement in the appearance of lines and wrinkles, 57 percent improvement in resiliency and elasticity of skin and a reduction in swollen joints in rheumatoid arthritis.

So would I personally give it a go? Absolutely. If one month can make your hair long and strong, just imagine what two months can do!
