Dubai’s Ramadan Night Market will take place at the World Trade Centre from June 23 to July 2.
The bazaar-like shopping festival will feature numerous products and services from around the region, such as ethnic clothing, jewellery, cosmetics, souvenirs and travel and tourism bargains.
The market, in its fifth year, will take place in Zabeel Hall four and five.
“There is shopping, deals and bargains, of course, plus food which is one of the biggest magnets,” said Samantha Cordeiro, brand manager for organisers Sumansa Exhibitions.
“And then there are games. This year, besides increasing the variety of retailers, we’ve also upped the entertainment quotient with our new addition, a puppet show by the famous Confetti Theatre”
The shows have been designed to educate children on social behaviour and health through puppetry and songs, she said.
The market will also include an Arabic-themed majlis, henna painting and a children’s play area featuring bouncy castles, wall climbing, a mini basketball court and face-painting.
The market will open from 8pm to 2am every day. Entry will cost AED5 per person, with free entry for children aged under five.
