The UAE’s incumbent telco Etisalat has launched new high-bandwidth 3Mbp and 4Mbp internet connection packages aimed squarely at small and medium sized enterprises under the banner of its BusinessOne Broadband service.

The two packages, which cost approximately AED1895 (US $516) and AED2595 ($707) per month (plus additional set-up and router charges), bring the total number of BusinessOne packages on offer to six. These range from the starter 512Kb single user package up to the now highest end 4Mb multi-user package.

3Mb and 4Mb customers will receive web storage capacities of up to 3Gbytes and 4Gbytes respectively, along with 50 and 60 personalized virtual e-mail accounts (up to one gigabyte for each e-mail account). These power business users will also receive comprehensive protection on the security front through Etisalat’s provision of 15 and 20 Norton Internet Security licenses with its 3Mb and 4Mb packages.

“The launch of these new BusinessOne packages is part of Etisalat’s continuous commitment to expand customer choice and convenience with higher speed broadband packages for our SME customers,” said Essa Al Haddad, the telco’s chief marketing officer. “The increased scale of operations and dynamic business environment in the UAE makes it imperative for SMEs to get the most out of business communications and e-business through a high speed broadband solution to improve productivity and performance, and we are confident our customers will recognise the considerable value we’ve built into features in both packages based on their requirements.”

Interested parties should visit www.etisalat.ae/businessone for more information and then head along – with Visa and trade license details in hand – to any Etisalat business centre to sign up.
