Golden Tulip’s latest hotel offering in Morocco, the Golden Tulip Hotel Des Arts, opened on August 3.
The five-star hotel is situated on the Atlantic Coast 20km from Casablanca in Dar Bouazza, and will be targeting both business and leisure travellers.
The boutique-styled hotel offers 30 guest rooms, 12 ethnic themed suites as well as 44 fully equipped residential apartments alongside 700m² of meeting and conference space.
“The Golden Tulip Hotel Des Arts is a fantastic addition to our existing five hotels in Morocco,” said Hans Kennedie, president and CEO of Golden Tulip Hospitality Group.
“I am confident that this agreement will bring great satisfactions to both parties as Golden Tulip will implement its international standards and Golden Tulip Hotel Des Arts will bring out its local flavours to business and leisure guests,” Kennedie maintained.
Rochdi El Bouab, senior vice president and managing director for Morocco for Golden Tulip, is also confident of success with the Des Arts hotel, which was reflagged to Golden Tulip last month.
“I am delighted to add another Golden Tulip to the Moroccan hotel landscape and am confident that the Golden Tulip Hotel Des Arts will successfully re-enter the market with the full implementation of all Golden Tulip tools, services and concepts,” he remarked.
In addition to the Golden Tulip Hotel Des Arts, the European chain currently operates five Golden Tulip Farah Hotels in Morocco located in Casablanca, Khouribga, Marrakech, Rabat and Safi, as well as the Golden Tulip Carthage, located in neighbouring Tunisia.
