New Fuji cameras at Grand Stores

Grand Stores, distributor for FujiFilm in the Middle East, is showcasing a range of new digital cameras from the Japanese giant at Gitex 2003.

Grand Stores is showcasing a range of new FujiFilm digital cameras at Gitex 2003. The Japanese imaging giant has launched several new groundbreaking models in 2003, including the world’s first digital compact camera to offer an output resolution of twelve megapixels (the FinePix S7000, pictured). Cameras on show at the Grand Stores stand include the FinePix F410 and F700. Both feature Fuji’s homegrown fourth generation ‘SuperCCD’ image capture technology. The F410 features the SuperCCD-HR sensor, offering an interpolated high-resolution output of six megapixels. The F700 uses Fuji’s SuperCCD-SR sensor, a more interesting development that offers a wider dynamic range than conventional CCDs. In plain English this means that highlights and shadows are better reproduced, and the photo reproduction of digital sensors is a step closer to the quality and versatility of film.
