Bahrain has announced the first day of Eid Al Fitr will be Wednesday, April 10 after the crescent moon was not spotted on Monday.
It means that Ramadan will last for 30 days in the country this year.
It means that Eid Al Fitr will officially begin on Wednesday, April 10 across Bahrain.

Bahrain has previously announced holidays for public sector workers to celebrate the occasion.
Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, issued a circular on Sunday, April 7 on the holidays.
The circular stipulates that the Kingdom’s ministries and public institutions will close on the day of first day of the holiday and the two days that follow.
