The United Arab Emirates (UAE) will mark the first day of Eid Al Fitr on March 30.

The UAE Presidential Court has declared that Sunday, will mark the first day of Eid Al-Fitr in the nation, following the confirmed sighting of the Shawwal crescent this evening

The UAE moon-sighting Committee also revealed that Sunday, March 30, 2025, will be the first day of Eid Al Fitr, which means that the last day of Ramadan will be on Saturday, March 29.

UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar declare first day of Eid Al Fitr

Other GCC countries have also announced the start of Eid Al Fitr.

Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Qatar have officially declared that Eid Al Fitr will begin on Sunday, March 30, with Saturday, March 29, being the final day of Ramadan.

Meanwhile, Oman has declared that Eid Al Fitr will be observed on Monday. The crescent moon is expected to be visible to the naked eye on Sunday, following sunset marking the 28th day of Ramadan.
