Dubai Industrial City has announced a partnership with Deutsche Post World Net to provide a range of logistics services at transPARK, a 20 million square feet logistics facility.
In close proximity to Jebel Ali Port and the forthcoming World Central Airport, transPARK will support companies and manufacturers located within Dubai Industrial City through a multitude of supply chain options, including freight, warehousing, distribution, consulting and express delivery.
“We have aligned with the best in the global logistics industry to create transPARK. The dedicated logistics park reflects Dubai Industrial City’s structured approach towards catalysing industrial activity by establishing world class standards and providing tenants with exclusive and flexible support,” said Rashed Al Ansari, CEO, Dubai Industrial City.
TransPARK is set to become one of the largest logistics providers in the region. It hopes to reduce the operating costs of companies by lowering their inventory levels and warehousing requirements, whilst offering enhanced sales revenues through improved service levels.
“This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside transPARK, and offer our full range of services to support what is a huge industrial project,” said David Christmas, special projects director, Exel.
In addition to a supply chain coverage that ranges from factory set up to manufacturing support, as well as storage and distribution of finished goods, transPARK will provide services that include consultancy, express deliveries and co-packing to support Dubai Industrial City’s clients.
