Revealed: Dubai Mall restaurants charge up to $816pp for NYE

Waterfront restaurants with views of Burj Khalifa announces costs of booking table for New Year’s Eve

Waterfront restaurants at Dubai Mall are charging up to AED3,000 ($816) per person for bookings on New Year’s Eve, it has been revealed.

The mega mall has announced what it’ll cost you to dine at its restaurants on December 31, with Joe’s Cafe and Fortnum & Mason charging top dollar at AED3,000 for special set menus.

Japengo Club, Social House and PI.Dubai are charging AED2,000 per person while costs at other waterfront restaurants range between AED750 and AED1,800.

Even a table at Starbucks, the US coffee outlet, will set you back AED600.

According to reports, the promenade near the Dubai Fountain will be open as per usual throughout December 31, but the Dubai Mall may close it at around 6pm if it gets busy. Then only those with bookings at restaurants will be allowed in.

The mall also points out that outside seats at the restaurants are subject to availabilty.
