Dubai residents reported feeling tremors after an earthquake in Iran

An earthquake that hit southern Iran was felt in the Dubai.

The National Centre of Meteorology confirmed that the tremor was felt by residents in the UAE, but said that it would not have an effect.

The authority recorded the quake at 7.17pm.

The epicentre was about 100km from the city of Bandar Abbas on the Gulf.

Residents in the UAE reported feeling mild tremors and took to social media to share their experiences.

A 5.8 Magnitude Earthquake on Richter scale is recorded South of Iran at 19:17, 30/11/2022 "UAE time” According to the NCM “National Seismic Network”

Earlier this month UAE’s National Centre for Meteorology confirmed a 5.3-magnitude Earthquake in Iran was felt in the emirates.
