Bader Hareb has resigned as CEO of Dubai-based Emaar Development.
The resignation was announced through a note to Dubai Financial Market (DFM), which said the move was due to “personal reasons”. No details were given of a successor, or an interim appointment.
Hareb replaced Chris O’Donnell in the top role with the Dubai developer in September 2018. The former Dubai Healthcare City CEO joined Emaar in 2017 as executive director.
Emaar Development is the build to sell arm of Emaar Properties, responsible for master-planned communities including Downtown Dubai, Arabian Ranches, and Dubai Creek Harbour.
Emaar Development reported a AED2.4 billion net profit for the first nine months of this year, on revenues of AED11.6bn. The company boasted a sales backlog of AED28.471bn at the end of September 2021.
