Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) said on Monday its Takreer Ruwais west refinery, which was impacted by a fire last week, will come back online within 48 hours.
On January 11, the company said in a tweet that the fire had been contained at one of its processing unit and there was no immediate danger to the population.

In statement published by state news agency WAM, the company said: “There were no casualties from the incident. The east refinery remained operational throughout the incident.”
The impact of the fire is marginally limited to propylene production, it said, revealing plans of initiate steps to counter any future incidents.
Earlier, the company said it will conduct a comprehensive investigation into the incident.
