Sachtler Camera Dynamics will debut its new multifunctional tool for mobile professional and semi-professional filmmakers at IBC 2007.
The FSB 2 and FSB 6 fluid heads are the world’s first, for two and six-kilogram payloads, to feature Sachtler’s sideload Snap & Go mechanism. This gives the camera a sliding range of 120mm.
The FSB CELL is a rechargeable 7.2 lithium-ion battery for MiniDV and (H)DV cameras. The FSB CELL’s underside has the same shape as a sideload plate allowing it to fit perfectly onto the new fluid heads.
Sachtler’s Artemis range of camera-stabilising technology will also be on display with some recent additions featured. The ACT 2 spring arm has been redesigned along with the ACT 2 vest, which is easily adjusted to fit a range of body sizes and statures. The artemis DV Pro FX is the sixth member of the artemis family.
