Plans to open 200 Cupagahwa cafes in the UAE, Saudi Arabia

Binghatti says to invest $136m in retail expansion over next three years

Binghatti Hospitality, the hospitality arm of Binghatti Holding, has announced plans to open 200 Cupagahwa branches across the UAE and Saudi Arabia within three years.

The company said it plans to invest over AED500 million ($136 million) to expand the café and restaurant brand after opening a new branch in A’l Bahar Corniche in Abu Dhabi.

New outlets will also open soon in Sharjah’s University City, Cupagahwa JBR at The Walk Jumeirah Beach Residences, and a branch Cupagahwa DIFC in Dubai International Financial Centre’s Gate Avenue.

Binghatti added in a statement that the expansion will be supported by a 6,000 sq ft central kitchen facility which will produce Cupagahwa’s signature menu offerings for the Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah branches.

The Cupagahwa cafés and restaurants offer a range of exclusive dishes of local Emirati flavours such as Shakshuka, Balaleet, Fish Machboos and Chicken Machboos.
