Etisalat has announced what its says is the fastest leased line service in the region, its new 1 Gbps service.
The leased line service is intended to give businesses a high degree of connectivity to manage growing demands from applications and services. Etisalat offer the leased line service in speeds from 200 Mbps to the full 1 Gbps capability. Previously the fastest service offered by Etisalat was 155Mbps.
Abdulla Hashim, VP, Enterprise Solutions, Etisalat said: “For our enterprise customers, high bandwidth usage today has become the norm. We have responded to those needs and we are very pleased to be able to offer them such high speed Internet services. The launch of a 1 Gigabit Internet Leased Line once again reinforces Etisalat’s position as the leading telecom innovator in the region.”
Pricing and service package details had not been provided by Etisalat at time of writing.
