Oman Air has announced the appointment of its new chief executive officer.
According to management, Peter Hill has the right strategic skills and international experience to meet the industry’s challenges. With previous experience in leadership roles for several international airlines, Hill will serve as a resource for all Oman Air employees.
HE Ahmed bin Abdulnabi Macki, board director and Oman’s Minister of national economy and supervisor of the Ministry of Finance said he was pleased to welcome Hill as CEO. “He brings a unique depth of experience to the position and moreover brings complimentary strengths to the company’s highly talented leadership team.”
Commenting on his appointment, Hill said: “I am honoured to accept the challenge of leading this growing company into a future that holds great promise with solid commercial strategy in place. I look forward to working as part of Oman Air management team to make the national carrier of Oman a world class airline.”
