A new Radisson Blu resort is now open in eastern Saudi Arabia’s Al Khobar region, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group announced on Monday.
The new resort, Al Khobar Half Moon Bay, includes 137 rooms, suites, and private chalets in the western half of Half Moon Bay.
“We are delighted to bring the Radisson Blu brand to Al Khobar, and increase our presence across the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia,” said Tim Cordon, area senior vice president, Middle East, Turkey and Africa.
“The kingdom has been and continues to be a key strategic focus for the group in line with the Saudi Vision 2030, which promotes economic diversification and tourism growth.”
“We are proud to be making our own contribution to this sector growth with 38 hotels in operation or under development across the Kingdom,” he said.
The resort includes individual chalets situated across a garden, each of which feature two bedrooms, a living room and private parking. Additionally, the resort – which now becomes the largest in the Al Khobar area – provides has beach access, as well as health clubs, an outdoor swimming pool, bicycle rental services and a play area for children.
The opening of the Al Khobar Radisson Blu comes several months after two other Radisson Blu hotels opened in Jeddah and Buraidah, Saudi Arabia
