UK flag carrier British Airways has revealed that its remaining long haul flights will move out of Terminal 4 and into Terminal 5 on Wednesday October 22.
The 14 flights that operate between Dubai and Heathrow – due to increase to three times daily on October 28 – will move on this date.
BA’s daily Abu Dhabi-Heathrow service will move to T5 one month earlier on September 17.
BA is currently operating 75% of its operations out of Terminal 5, which it claims after initial teething problems when it opened in April, is now “performing well”.
The terminal celebrated 100 days of operation on July 4 during which time almost five million passengers had travelled through the facility and more than 38,000 flights had been handled.
Full details of the Terminal 5 moves can be found on the airline’s website, www.ba.com.
BA has also started rolling out its new-look Club World on its Boeing 747 and 777 aircraft, some of which are now operating on Middle East routes.
