Saudi Arabia’s AlUla Development Company, fully owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) has signed a new agreement with Six Senses to open Six Senses AlUla.
The move is part of the kingdom’s efforts to expand luxury hospitality.
The agreement was signed in the presence of AlUla Development Company Managing Director Naif AlHamdan and other distinguished guests at the Maraya, the Guinness World Record holder for the world’s largest mirrored building, located in AlUla.
Six Senses AlUla: Luxury resort partnership
The partnership entails the establishment of ‘Six Senses AlUla,’ a luxury resort set to open its doors to the public in 2027.
The resort is set to be a breathtaking oasis inclusive of 1,200,000 square meters of natural beauty, such as lush palm groves and red-sandstone cliffs. This upcoming hotel will feature 100 guest villas and 25 residences.
“We are working to enrich the hospitality offerings and experiences in AlUla so that we can enable visitors to explore its rich history amidst its natural picturesque setting,” AlHamdan said.

Neil Jacobs, Chief Executive Officer of Six Senses, also highlighted the importance of this venture and said: “We look forward to building a lasting relationship with AlUla Development Company and actively supporting the burgeoning tourism sector in Saudi Arabia.”
