American singer Lady Gaga has confirmed she will play her first concert in Dubai on September 10 and tickets will go on sale on May 15.
The 28-year-old pop singer’s official website confirmed she will play a gig at the Meydan Racecourse.
While an official press conference was called on Monday morning May 12 to announce details of the concert, Lady Gaga fan websites and twitter accounts had revealed the details weeks ago.
“Lady Gaga will bring artRAVE to Dubai on September 10th, 2014! Tickets go on sale May 15th. Official announcement released on May 12,” the twitter account Lady Gaga News stated earlier this month.
Similarly, fan website Gaga Daily stated: “Sources from Dubai are reporting an official announcement of Gaga’s artRAVE in Dubai in September, most likely the 10th, will come within the next couple of weeks.”
