Time Out Riyadh has named the best places to eat in the Saudi capital in 2023.
The celebrated Time Out brand named the best restaurants in the city in categories such as Indian, Italian, Saudi and Japanese.
2023 marks the second year in a row Time Out has honoured restaurants in the capital of Saudi Arabia, where the international food scene is flourishing.
Best restaurants in Riyadh
Time Out named Japanese eatery Myazu as the best restaurant in Riyadh in 2023.
The restaurant critics at Time Out said: “Myazu is a proper dining destination that echoes through every conversation as a must-try. Not many restaurants in the Kingdom command such universal esteem and admiration.
“Since opening in 2020, this Asian-influenced eatery has become one of those that just gets better with age.
“The atmosphere is vibrant; the crowd is elegant and the service is nothing short of impeccable.”
Meanwhile, fine-dining restaurant Maiz was selected as the best restaurant to eat Saudi cuisine in Riyadh, with critics saying: “Maiz is celebrating the full spectrum of Saudi cuisine in an elegant venue that doesn’t overlook a single detail.
“The historical views of UNESCO World Heritage Site Turaif already give it major credentials, but that’s just the start with ingredient sourcing, music and interiors all reflecting different facets of the Kingdom.”
