What is a Hayya card?
The Hayya card will act as an entry permit for travel into Qatar during the FIFA World Cup tournament from November 10 to December 23.
It will be used as identification for all ticketholders and provide benefits to enhance the FIFA experience such as free metro and bus access to and from the matches.
You will need to show your Hayya card to gain access to the stadiums to attend matches.
Who can apply for a Hayya card?
It is mandatory for all fans including children to apply for the Hayya card.
Children under 18 years must have a parent or guardian apply on their behalf. No Hayya card, no entry.
In fact, all traveling to Qatar regardless of whether they plan to attend the tournament or are visiting for other purposes such as business will require a Hayya card.
If family and friends residing in Qatar are looking to host visitors, they will need to register their accommodation in the Hayya portal.
Does a Qatar resident/citizen require a Hayya card?
Yes. All match ticket holders will need a Hayya Card to attend matches including Qatar residents.
What are the documents required to get a Hayya card?
You will need to register for a Hayya account to log in and apply for a Hayya card or login in via the FIFA.com website. You will need:
- A valid match ticket
- If you are an international ticket holder, your Hayya card application will require your accommodation be validated via the portal
- Enter passport details, personal information, and home address to complete your registration
You will require a smartphone to access the digital card.
What are the fees associated with the Hayya Card?
The Hayya card costs QAR100 ($27) and allows multi-entry during its 90-day validity.
Other costs associated with the Hayya card relate to transfer of accommodation from one guest to another, an admin fee of QAR100 will be charged.
How long does it take to obtain a Hayya card?
The standard processing time is around 7 business days with options for fast tracking available at higher processing fees. Processing time could increase closer to the time.
