Tickets for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix are now on sale.

F1 returns to Jeddah for the third time in less than 18 months with the world’s fastest road race scheduled for Sunday, March 19.

As well as the F1 race on the Jeddah Circuit on Sunday, March 19 there will be a three-day racing carnival.

Events include Formula 2 racing, the Porsche Sprint Cup Challenge Middle East and a variety of fan activities and events.  

Paddock Club access, above the F1 garages, starts at $7,500 for the weekend. Premium three-day tickets cost around $3,700 (SR13,800) with Friday-only access starting at $23 (SR85).

Martin Whitaker, CEO of the Saudi Motorsport Company, said:  “As the sporting spotlight once again falls on Saudi Arabia for the world’s most prestigious racing series, we are thrilled to welcome F1 back to Jeddah for the third time next year on March 17th – 19th.

“It will undoubtedly be another weekend of breath-taking racing and showstopping entertainment for all fans in attendance.

“It has been incredibly satisfying to see the response from fans at home and abroad to our first two races and it’s clear that for F1’s third outing on the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, expectations are high and the team at SMC and SAMF are ready to again rise to the challenge.”

Saudi Arabia is in line to host the first Grand Prix of the 2024 Formula 1 season, according to media reports.

News of Saudi Arabia taking the first race of the 2024 season emerged in a statement from the Government of Victoria in Australia.

Reporting that the Australian Grand Prix has extended its contract to host a race in Melbourne until 2037 the Australian Government said Saudi Arabia would host the first race of 2024.

In a statement it said: “Part of the deal will see Melbourne host the first race of the Formula 1 season for at least four years between 2023 and 2037, with Saudi Arabia to host to the first race of the 2024 Formula 1 season out of respect for Ramadan.”
