Hiroshima marks Atomic Bomb anniversary
Hundreds of people gathered at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park to mark the 69th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima in Japan. The first atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima by the USA on 6 August,1945, killing an estimated 70,000 people instantly, with many more dying over the following years from the effects of radiation.
