World’s most expensive solid gold crib and pacifier on sale in Dubai
For a staggering $16.3 million, you can have your baby cocooned in a bed of gold
Suommo, a luxury furniture company for babies, have just revealed plans of opening a boutique in Dubai.
The Spanish company will be displaying their luxury designs, which include the solid gold Bassinet and gold and diamond pacifier.
Named the Dodo Bassinet, the limited edition 24 carat creation weighs in at 188kg, swivels a full 360 degre
The bedding is made of natural wild silk, and gold yarn embroideries.
The collection includes of the eco-breath mattress -featuring a micro-ventilated membrane- two hand-made natural silk sheets, a Pima cotton non-feather duvet, a padded perimetre bumper guard and a pillow, which would cost an additional $2,530 if bought separately.
You can choose to engrave the crib with a diamond and white gold insignia with the additional cost of $122,000, while a diamond and pure gold embellishment is just shy of $166,000.
Custom diamond wheels are also on offer.
The solid gold limited edition design is the by far the priciest of the Dodo Bassinet collection, which includes gold, black, silver, white and rose gold designs.
The solid gold crib was created by Ximo Talamantes, designer and CEO of Suommo.
Six months ago, when the bassinet was first launched, it was sold for $4 million less than it’s current price.
Suommo’s Dodo Dummy is also made of Diamonds and pure gold.
The 18 carat gold and diamonds dummy is handcrafted and comes in yellow, white and rose gold options.
Dubbed as the “World’s most expensive dummy,” the rose gold edition is sold for a whopping $136,000 while the (cheapest) pure gold version goes for $40,800.
